Lake George United Methodist Church is committed to giving back to the local community and beyond.
Part of that mission includes making sure our building and resources are accessible by all.
Glens fall Family Services provides needed gifts to families during the Christmas season. We were once again blessed with many donations that were used for their Emergency Christmas Program. GF Family services also assigned a family in their Adopt a Family Program. God blessed us with the ability to provide Christmas for a family of 6. We were able to provide gifts for 4 children and 2 adults along with a Christmas meal. But God was not done yet. Another family known by our Church was in need as well. A mother with 2 children received gifts and a meal as well. It is truly a blessing to be able to share the gifts that God pours upon us. While we may not know all the circumstances of the families, we do know they are all Gods children. Lake George UMC is committed to supporting Lake George and surrounding communities. We look forward to seeing what God has planned for us in 2023.
H.A.R.K.
H.A.R.K. is run by Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake George. it is common in Lake George for other churches to combine resources for the common good. Like most communities there are children in need and yes some are homeless. H.A.R.K. helps to meet that need. Lake George UMC in 11/21 donated $500 towards this ministry. Please join us in supporting H.A.R.K. We continue to support with support for 2022. $500 donation made 9/22
