It seems like all we hear today is how people are different and each one of us must change to accommodate the other. This often ends with undesirable results. God did make each one of us different and he gave us free will. Our differences are what help us grow as a people and as a society. Our differences help us to better understand what is written in the bible and how to interpret what God’s plan is for us.
God does not require us to win approval of other people, it is God’s approval that is required.
15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
As followers of Jesus Christ, we need to make the world a better place. To do so we need to make disciples and transform the world but first we have to ask ourselves, What Would Jesus Do?
